Innovations made in Teaching - learning Process 

Various innovative techniques have been adopted and implemented in the process of teaching and learning during the year 2007-2008.  Some of the innovations made are as follows:

  1. The “Academic Planner” has been prepared in the Institute by the faculty members for the year 2007-2008. This “Academic Planner” or “Lesson Planner” Comprises the prior planning of date wise teaching programme for each class and each subject pertaining to each teacher including the laboratories starting from the first day to the last day of the academic year. The planner also incorporated the holidays, vacation days and examination days giving a crystal clear picture of each day for whole academic year enabling each of the teachers, technical and laboratory staff in saving the undue loss of effective hours and chances for compensation of loss hours which are obvious.

  2. During the year of 2007-2008 Faculty appraisals by students has continued to improve the quality of teaching and learning process.

  3. In the Last Academic year course monitoring committee was constituted and the committee will evaluated the results, teaching methods and other student related activities in the respective years. The tutorial hours and GATE, MAT coaching classes had introduced in the last academic year.

  4. The class conducting report system was introduced in the last academic year. This system will very much helpful to monitor the day to day activities of individual students.
