Research Activities

This Academic year Mr.L.Sutharson, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology, Prof.Amitava Ghosh, Prof & Head Department of Pharmaceutics and Mrs J.P.Mohanthy, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy, Mr.BiblabKumar Dey, Asst. Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics had submitted their Doctoral thesis to University of North Bengal during this academic session. Dr. Supratim Ray, Assistant Professor Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry has awarded for his Ph.D degree in Jadavpur University.

Department of Pharmacy, Himalayan Pharmacy Institute, University of North Bengal, Department Research Committee had conducted its 5th seminar on 5th May 2008 in the Institute where three faculty members namely Ms. Hema Basnette Prem Kumar, Mr. V. Ravi and Mr. T.S. Mohamed Saleem had presented their seminar on the topics on which they are carrying out the research work leading to Ph.D degree under University of North Bengal.    After this, 6th seminar of Departmental research committee on 11th June 2008 in this Institute where three faculty members namely Mr.Mrinmay Das, Mr. Sita Sharan Patel and Mr.Bupendra Shestra have been registered for their Ph. D degree in Pharmacy.
