Affiliation to Sikkim University

This year we had the opportunity to link ourselves as an affiliate to SikkimUniversity (A Central University established by an Act of parliament of India). As such new undergraduate batches (B.Pharm) and Postgraduate (M.Pharm) from the session 2008-2009 onwards shall be registered under Sikkim University. Ph.D programme in pipeline for the approval and affiliation of the above university. To fulfill the vision of honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Mahendra P. Lama, the examination has been changed from annual to semester system to comply with international standards. The university constituted the undergraduate syllabus as per semester system and relevant to current demands. Apart from three members of this institute, there were members of high excellence in pharmacy from different universities and colleges of India (allied field). We are honored and are highly thankful to Dr. Lama, the Vice chancellor of Sikkim University for his initiative, support and constant guidance in the mammoth exercise for foaming a rational syllabus.
